Things have moved quickly in regards to efforts to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus. Both federal and state officials are now requesting that we limit interaction as much as possible for the time being.
As a result effective immediately I will be providing sessions only by phone or via video (Skype, Zoom, or Facetime). In terms of your privacy these remote sessions will be conducted in a private setting and the communication is encrypted when using these applications (see links above).
Taking this step helps to ensure our health and support our government's effort to deal with this outbreak. I apologize for any inconvenience and hope you understand why we have to take these measures at this time.

As all of us know, the Coronavirus is believed to be extremely contagious. It seems to hit the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions especially hard. The Center for Disease Control is asking all businesses to prepare in case of an outbreak. This virus is particularly difficult as one can be showing no symptoms but still be capable of infecting others.
With the recent news that there are 3 cases in Maryland (and undoubtably more to come) I am asking for your cooperation to help avoiding its spread. How? Quite simply, if you are sick, do not come in for a therapy session. Symptoms include cough, fever, body aches, and shortness of breath. If you do come to the office exhibiting these symptoms, I will need to refuse to conduct a session out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of all my clients.
Please know that if you feel you would like a phone or a video session we can readily arrange that.
I will continue to monitor this situation and advise you should I feel that it is in our best interest for the office to implement additional protective measures. As always, providing you with the best care and support is the goal of this practice.
